RLO started to work with the deportees from the US and other western Countries. RLO response to the needs of Children, Youths, Women, the displaced persons, disabled and children of South Sudan to have access to their basic needs and enjoy full potentials of lives and live with dignity in the society. With support from the local authorities, RLO managed to encourage community members specially women in Akobo County, Mangala and Rejaf to form cooperative groups so as to help themselves to alleviate poverty and encourage entrepreneurial activities in the area.

Before its full registration with the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission in 2022, the organization has been co-implementing education and health as well as protection activities with other local and international NGOs in the country.
